SOUTOMIL LTDA, Brazilian tax ID (CNPJ) 56.042.296/0001-68, a limited liability company (sociedade empresária limitada) classified as a microenterprise (ME), headquartered at R. Carapicuíba, 320, Tirol, Belo Horizonte, MG, ZIP 30692-646, Brazil. Main activity: retail of general merchandise with a predominance of food products, covering minimarkets, grocery stores and general stores (CNAE 47.12-1-00). No secondary activities are registered.

Under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Lei nº 13.709/2018, LGPD), SOUTOMIL LTDA is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Processing is limited to what is needed to sell over the counter, fulfill orders, deal with suppliers and keep this website online.

Data we collect

• Contact details: name, email and phone or WhatsApp number, when you write to the store or use the form on this website.
• Orders: products, quantities, dates and delivery address, when arranged with the store.
• Purchases: details on the tax receipt when you ask for one with your CPF or CNPJ, and payment information processed by card acquirers, which is not stored by us.
• Suppliers and sales reps: name, company, contact details and the commercial data needed for quotes and purchases.
• Applicants: name, contact details and résumé sent by people looking for a job.
• Browsing: IP address, device type, browser and pages visited, logged automatically by the infrastructure that hosts the site.

The contact form stores nothing on this website. It only opens your email app with the message filled in, and the message is sent from your own account.

Purposes

• Reply to messages and arrange orders and deliveries;
• Issue tax documents and meet tax obligations;
• Negotiate with and receive goods from suppliers;
• Review applicants for positions at the store;
• Record security incidents and prevent fraud;
• Keep the website accessible and secure.

Sharing

• Service providers: accounting, tax invoice issuing, card acquirers, website hosting and the email provider, each limited to its own function and bound by confidentiality;
• Suppliers: only the data needed to deliver goods to the store;
• Public authorities: when required by law, a tax authority or a court order.

No customer data is passed to suppliers for prospecting.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or profiling cookies. The content delivery network that hosts the pages may set strictly technical cookies related to security and performance. Blocking cookies in your browser does not affect contacting the store by email or phone.

Retention

• Messages and orders: for as long as needed to serve you and for up to 12 months afterward, as history;
• Tax documents: for the legal period, generally 5 years;
• Résumés: for up to 6 months after receipt;
• Browsing logs: for the hosting infrastructure's standard period.

After these periods, data is deleted or anonymized, unless a legal obligation requires longer storage.

Your rights

Under article 18 of the LGPD, you may ask SOUTOMIL LTDA for:

• Confirmation that we process your data and access to it;
• Correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
• Anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data;
• Portability to another provider;
• Information about who your data has been shared with;

Security

• Access to the store's email and systems is restricted to authorized people, each with an individual password;
• Paper documents are kept in a controlled-access location;
• The practices described here are reviewed periodically.

If a security incident poses a relevant risk to data subjects, the store will notify the ANPD and the affected people within the legal deadlines.

International transfers and external links

The hosting and email services we use may keep servers outside Brazil. When that happens, the transfer is made to countries with an adequate level of protection or under contractual clauses and safeguards provided for in the LGPD. This website may contain links to third-party pages, which have their own policies and are not covered by this document.
